Treatment of Waste Alkali Liquor and Flux Waste Liquor in the Hot-Dip Galvanizing Process

The treatment of waste alkali liquor and flux solvent waste liquor generated during hot-dip galvanizing typically involves waste alkali liquor containing oil contamination, dirt, and scum. The general treatment method involves pumping out the waste alkali liquor and filtering it to separate the oil, water, and scum. The alkaline liquor is generally used to neutralize waste acid liquor at this stage.

The flux waste liquor (ammonium chloride solution) generated during hot-dip galvanizing is usually used to neutralize waste acid liquor.
